Many festivals on the register end in a room, not a feed. AIFJ runs three days in Tokyo, T-AIFF three in Istanbul, AI Cinema Festival NYC three in New York, and Bochnia and Cinema Shift a single evening each. From 5 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Finalists are sometimes invited in person, and few of the rules read say who pays; LTX's first prize included travel and a hotel in Berlin.

Astana, AIFJ, the African festival and T-AIFF all fall between October and December, so a film selected at several can face overlapping screenings and premiere rules.

Put each festival's event date in the calendar beside its deadline before entering.
