1Festivals with the same reading

African AI Film Festival, AI Cinema Festival NYC, AI Film Festival Japan, AI International Film Festival, Cinema Shift Festival, K-Culture AI International Film Festival and LifeArt AI Film Festival have this reading, “awards without cash figures”: 8 festivals in all.

Rules change between editions; check the organiser's page before entering.

2What the rule means for an entrant

The largest figures come from platform contests and a festival with a production fund; others offer screenings, travel or a speaker pass. A prize tied to a platform usually comes with the obligation to have made the film there.

Inclusion rule. Every festival on the register, with or without a detailed page on this rule. Order. Alphabetical by festival name.

3The making side of an entry

For an entrant reading “Turkey International AI Film Festival”, this is what SceneMixer publishes about the film its pipeline hands over:

The music runs across the end card and comes to an end with the film.

A script longer than about 10,000 characters (counted as Chinese-equivalent characters) is read in two passes: first the cast, sets and props, then the episode list with a short outline per episode.
