1The rules in brief
Project Odyssey ran two seasons of an online AI filmmaking competition. Its published rules, from Season 2, ask for at least one generative AI tool used in a significant way and cap films at 15 minutes, with shorter limits for social, advertising and trailer categories; that deadline was January 19, 2025. Its home page now announces a partnership on the Chroma Awards, with Season 3 listed as coming soon.

3The making side of an entry
For an entrant reading “Project Odyssey”, this is what SceneMixer publishes about the film its pipeline hands over:
Typically 60–120 seconds, always 9:16 vertical, ending on a hook. SceneMixer's episode outlines are generated with that pacing, and setting a project to 9:16 makes every segment vertical (the default is 16:9).

16:9 landscape (SceneMixer's default) and 9:16 vertical (the usual short-drama frame), chosen per project.
