1What its pages say

Higgsfield runs a film festival of its own, whose rules ask for films made entirely within its tools. Its Cinema Studio 4.0 page describes generations of up to a minute that come back as an edited scene rather than one raw clip. The help centre says users own their outputs, citing its terms, and that watermarks on some plans are embedded at generation while paid plans download without them.

2Why it is on the list

The entry rules of the Higgsfield Global Film Festival name it.

a $1,000,000 USD cash-prize competition of skill for filmmakers creating short cinematic work entirely within the Higgsfield ecosystem

You own your outputs.

Higgsfield Help Center, who owns my generations

Six festivals here make entrants warrant they hold every right in the film and five let them keep copyright while granting a licence.

Higgsfield, Cinema Studio page

Six festivals here want three minutes or more; three minutes alone takes at least three clips at Higgsfield's longest length.

Running-time rules apply to the finished film, so the clips have to be put together somewhere.

Marks on the file: Clean files on paid plans

Paid plans include watermark-free downloads.

Thirteen of the 25 festivals here ask, or keep the right to ask, about the AI an entrant used; the marks are what the tool leaves in the file either way.
