Which festivals ask which AI tools you used?
Eleven do. Seven want the tools listed: the African festival, AI Cinema Festival NYC, AIFJ, Astana, Bochnia, Chroma and WAIFF USA. WAIFF in Cannes wants a production file, Reply and Gen:48 a written explanation, and Sundance disclosure of any AI use, on pain of disqualification. From 11 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Inclusion rule. A festival is listed when its own rules state what the question asks. Order. Festivals in alphabetical order.
Disclosure has moved from a courtesy to a condition of entry. The strictest wording is Sundance's: it puts no limit on AI use, but makes disclosing it the applicant's responsibility.
Two festivals go further than a list. Higgsfield keeps every generation inside one project on its own platform, where the whole history can be checked, and the Academy may ask for more information about how AI was used and who the human authors were.

2The making side of an entry
For an entrant reading “Which festivals ask which AI tools you used?”, this is what SceneMixer publishes about the film its pipeline hands over:
The new name is written everywhere the old one stood: storyboard lines, episode titles and summaries, the scene lists and already-parsed dialogue.

SceneMixer writes dialogue into the script analysis, assigns each line to a shot with a speaker and a short delivery note, and the video model performs it — picture and audio generated together, so the mouth forms that sentence in the language you chose.
