Longest AI clip against festival running times

The longest single generation on the pages read runs from 10 seconds, on Google Flow and Runway, to a minute on Higgsfield. Six festivals here want three minutes or more, and three minutes alone takes from three clips to eighteen at those lengths, before any take is trimmed. From 7 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.

No tool on the list makes a festival-length film in one generation. A three-minute minimum is set by the Runway AI Festival, Astana, Higgsfield's festival and the American edition of the World AI Film Festival for shorts; its Cannes edition asks for five, and the 1 Billion AI Film Award asked for seven.

The counts are a floor. Takes are trimmed, cut away from and dropped when they do not work, so a finished three minutes needs more generations than the arithmetic shows.

Short caps exist as well. The AI Shortest Film Competition takes up to 60 seconds and Artefact up to 314, so one Higgsfield generation could fill the first on its own.
