Which festivals set a minimum of AI use?
Six do. WAIFF in Cannes asks for three generative tools, one for images; Bochnia for half the picture or sound, from two tools; Artefact for a tool in each phase of production; Astana for AI integral to the film; T-AIFF for AI throughout; Sparknify's AI track for a wholly generated film. Inclusion rule. A festival is listed when its own rules state what the question asks. Order. Festivals in alphabetical order.
A minimum rules out a film that used AI only at the edges, for upscaling, clean-up or a single effect. Astana says so outright.
It also shapes the workflow from the start. Artefact's rule means using AI to write or storyboard as well as to generate images and sound, which is hard to add after the fact. Gen:48's 75% of the running time is a minimum too, tied to one platform.

2Producing the entry with AI
For an entrant reading “Which festivals set a minimum of AI use?”, this is what SceneMixer publishes about the film its pipeline hands over:
Dubbing replaces the audio of a finished clip; the picture was generated for a different line, so mouth shapes, pauses and shot length all belong to the original language. Native-language generation gives the video model the line in the target language before it renders the shot, so the performance, the pacing and the cut points are built for that language.
